        In the issue of August, 22-nd Korrespondent magazine within the framework of annual project TOP-100 will present the names of one hundred most influential people of Ukraine. Among them there are politicians, businessmen, cultural workers and sportsmen. At preparation of rating the journalists took into account opinions 20 experts in different areas.

        TOP-100 of this year is an attempt to help the readers of magazine to estimate influencing of individuals in the conditions of the unprecedented falling of level of trust to power and actual beginning of presidential race.

        Taking the choice, editors took popularity of politicians and their degree of influence on life of country, scales of the guided companies and possibilities of lobbyists into account – for businessmen, and also mass character of admirers – for cultural and sportsmen workers. Thus, rating TOP-100 is an editorial choice, based on opinions of experts.

        By submitting rating of one hundred most influential people of Ukraine, Korrespondent offers to the readers the point of view what people and ideas move a country and what tendencies prevail in the state. For many readers this rating will open the new names, will help to understand where Ukraine will appear tomorrow.

        Issue of August, 22-nd is already the sixth rating of one hundred most influential people of Ukraine, Korrespondent has presented. In 2003 and 2004 years a list was headed by Leonid Kuchma, in 2005 was Victor Yushchenko, in 2006 – Rinat Akhmetov, and last year was his colleague on party Victor Yanukovych.

        However with going away of Party of Regions to opposition shook influentialness of all its members, therefore a change in rating of this year was touched all list, including an apex.
